Crochet Produce Handbag

I love this bag!

I just finished this last week.  It said it was a flower bag for your garden but when I first saw it, I thought right away it would be great for my trips to the farmers market and put my produce in there.  Can't wait to use it this coming May when the farmers market is open!

Measurements: 22" length by 12" high
handles are braided and are about 44" in length

**Etsy account coming soon to sell my products you see on here.

Woolen Eater Blanket Challenge finished!

This is my starting stage...
This is my final pictures of the challenge I had mentioned before... did it take me that long to finish it? Unfortunately, yes! I had some things come up with family but I finally finished it and it looks beautiful!  With all this hard work tho.. it is hard to give this away!  I don't have anything to match with it but I will find a good place for it someday. *wink*
I will try this pattern again!
The beginning photo stage is a great idea for hot pads! *wink*
I'm thinking of Christmas gifts already.. :)
Enjoy!

Here you can see the final baby blanket.
measurements:  4' by 4'

Here you can see the folded edge to see the other side of the patten it makes.. puffy and smooth! very beautiful!

NEW YEAR, NEW BEGINNINGS!!!

Happy 2012!!

Have you gotten used to writing that yet? My goals this year (I don't like saying resolutions because when I say that, they seem to never get done) are to commit more to this blog & my catering blog & update more often.  I also want to eat healthier... thats a hard one for me as I love to cook and bake.
I also would like to commit more on me... by this I mean I want to focus more on myself with crafts, my hair, nails, facials, meditation, etc.. I lost myself and need to dig this girl out!  I need to care and love myself and learn to avoid issues, problems and drama by staying positive and learning to make peace with things.

More goals are:
remodeling a few areas in my home
get and stay organized
try new recipes with more veggies and fruits and from other cultures.
drink more water
adventure more with my boys and hubby
and
to stay sober

What are your goals?

With that being said, I am going to update this week with some projects I have done and doing... so not only will you see crafts and recipes here  you will see my updates on my remodeling and home repair. :)  More things will be added in time as well..

I hope you enjoy your year and all your goals come true!  *cheers!*

Tink Card Holder box

This is a box I did for my card organizer challenge (yes I did two for the challenge).  This was a bit more challenging than the other one I posted.  The thing I like about this one is that you can make tabs for the cards to sort them by catagories.  I had to do a tink theme as she is my all time favorite.

This is the inside look of it. See.. sorting in catagories.  *wink*

Updates and other ideas...

I have uploaded some things on my Chef page that I will be offering for my Catering parties and still have a lot of other recipes for you that I have been doing the last month.  I have been busy cooking up a storm in my tiny kitchen and trying out new things.  Everyone seems to love them so go on over to my Chef page if you click on the little chef on the right it will take you straight there.  Happy Cooking!

On the other side of my creations I have been brainstorming on some April fools day treats that I think my boys will love & will be surprised to know what they really are... so stay tuned for what is up my sleeve cause you won't want to miss this one!

Easter is also around the corner and I am going to be making a few crafts this weekend to get myself ready for it.  I have a few ideas but still searching for better things. *wink*

See you soon!
